Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
